Have you ever wanted to learn the art of mediation and help resolve community association disputes? Now you can…

Become a mediator or refresh your mediation skills as part of CAI-NJ’s Mediation/Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program training. Mediation/ADR is a non-adversarial approach in which a neutral party – the mediator – guides parties to a dispute through the resolution process to reach a mutually acceptable agreement as an alternative to litigation. CAI-NJ is sponsoring the Mediation/ADR Training Program for a limited number of registrants to fill the critical need of providing affordable mediation services by person who are experienced in community association matters and issues.

The Mediation/ADR Training Program will take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hill Wallack’s Princeton office (lunch will be provided). Facilitating the program will be Ronald L. Perl, Esq., the partner-in-charge of Hill Wallack LLP’s Community Associations Group, and Paul Santoriello, PCAM, President of Taylor Management Company, AAMC, AMO.

By successfully completing the Mediation/ADR Training Program, CAI-NJ will approve a full day of credit towards the Professional Management Development Program (PMPD). In addition, you will be placed on the CAI-NJ list of mediators. Being on the list of qualified mediators allows you to be chosen to mediate community association disputes. Each registrant will receive a Certificate of Completion, which will be kept on file with CAI-NJ.
