With more favorable infection numbers and the increasing number of vaccinated individuals, the Governor is raising the limits on indoor and outdoor gatherings as of Friday, March 19th.
As of that date:
- Most indoor gatherings (those that are not religious services or ceremonies, political events, weddings, funerals, memorial services or performances) can be attended by up to 25 people rather than 10.
- Outdoor gatherings that are not religious services or ceremonies, political events, weddings, funerals or memorial services may be attended by up to 50 individuals rather than 25.
- For those associations that have restaurants or gyms, indoor capacity will be up to 50%, from 35%.
It is important to remember that the existing masking and social distancing requirements will not be lifted, and the Department of Health Guidelines on Gyms, Restaurants and Pools are still in effect. We will see whether pool restrictions are amended as we get closer to Memorial Day.
For more information about the opening of facilities, please attend our Facilities Opening Webinar at noon on Thursday, March 18th. More information on registration will follow.
