Hill Wallack LLP Partner Ronald L. Perl, Esq.will discuss the ongoing changes to the FHA’s condominium project approval procees as part of a Webinar titled “FHA Requirements: What Boards and Property Managers Need to Know” on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at 12:00 to 1:00 P.M.
This Webinar with discuss the significant modifications FHA’s Condominium Project Approval and Processing Guidelines, which are now a year old. Promulgated by the FHA on June 30, 2011, these updated Guidelines were intended to provide a single source of information and consolidate, update and clarify the FHA’s policies and procedures for condominium project approval. Yet, the uproar voiced from association boards, community managers, attorneys and lenders when the Guidelines were released was considerable and many of these concerns have yet to be adequately addressed. The FHA has now announced that they will change the requirements and possibly relax the limits on the condominium project approval process this year.
This informative panel discussion will talk about the current state of the approval process as well as the proposed changes and why they are important to you. Mr. Perl will be joined by Philip J. Sutcliffe, Founder, Project Support Services I, LLC, and the program will be moderated by H. Edward Wilkin, CPA, Shareholder, Wilkin & Guttenplan, PC.
